Bloch Farukhkha Husenkha
Farukhkha Bloch hails from Gujarat, the westernmost state of India and Oregon since 1989. His home town is close to the GIR Lion sanctuary, the only refuge of Asiatic wild lions in the world. He has a Master degree in Sociology and is associated with Wildlife Trust of India since 2013 in the Whale Shark Conservation project and is responsible for the community outreach activities with fisher folks on Gujarat coast. His bi-cultural background and focus on community collaboration have evidently influenced his life choices.
