Field Officer

Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) invites applications from undergraduate or postgraduate degree holders in the Environmental Science/ Wildlife Science/Social Sciences/law/Wildlife Crime, with minimum 1-2 years of experience to coordinate all WTI activities on wildlife crime prevention and law enforcement in Uttar Pradesh.

Qualification, Experience& Skills

• Good communication skills required
• Inclination towards Wildlife conservation
• Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science/ Wildlife Science/Social Sciences/law/wildlife crime.
• Work Experience of minimum 1-2 years, preferably working for an NGO

Broad responsibilities include:                                                      

• Coordinate all WTI trainings in the state at field level
• Assist enforcement agencies to help curb wildlife crime in the region
• Undertake community level initiatives to raise awareness and form community level vigilance groups
• Coordinate anti-snare walks in identified protected areas
• Report to designated Reporting manager on work progress on a daily basis
• Prepare reports on all activities undertaken and submit to reporting manager as per schedule
