Since its establishment in 1998, WTI has grown into one of the top wildlife conservation organisations in India; its 140-plus workforce includes conservationists, veterinarians, wildlife biologists, sociologists, managers, etc.
Who we’re looking for
An individual who will plan, develop and implement strategy for HR management and development. A person who is adept at adjusting to the pressures of an NGO driven by its mission, with a focus on systems and compliances

Qualifications and skills
Qualifications: M.B.A or relevant qualification in HR
Experience: 8 -10 years
Age between 30-45 years
Must have worked in an NGO
Must have handled a staff strength of 100 at all levels
Broad responsibilities include
- Implementing policies and processes for recruitment, discipline, grievance, contracts, development, molar and motivation, performance appraisal and quality management.
- Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development
- Deliver all the outcomes and outputs as prescribed in the Project Implementation Plans and oversee the activities carried out by the staff
- Stay in the know of latest HR development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization
- Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievement within agreed formats and timescales
- Plan for employee’s performance appraisal; develop tools for appraisal, job evaluation and development
- Responsible for increments and promotions of staff
- Coordinate with line managers
- Develop and implement morale boosting measures for the employees
- Ensure all statutory compliance are in place for the projects falling under the division
- Visit field stations to ensure all aspects of HR development
