Ambulance for the Rehabilitation & Relocation Centre, Assam

New Delhi: A mobile wild animal clinic cum ambulance, purchased with a grant from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, is being used for WTI’s WILD RESCUE programme in Assam. While the rescue centre is being built, the ambulance caters to the Kaziranga National Park to transport animals that are injured and stranded between the annual floods, which occur between June-September almost every year.
