Wildlife trader sentenced to one year in prison
New Delhi: Bishan Singh, arrested in Delhi in March 1997 for illegal trade in desert cat and fishing cat articles, was today sentenced to a year in prison by the Court of the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Dig Vinay Singh. He has also been fined a sum of Rs 10,000. Read more »
Conflict tiger captured in Upper Assam; to be released in Manas

Tiger skin seized in Kerala; three arrested, search on for hunters
Kozhikode: A tiger skin was seized from three traders in Kozhikode district in Kerala following an undercover operation by the Forest Department earlier this month. The traders have been arrested and a search has been initiated to nab the people who killed the tiger. Read more »
