Injured Adult Male Leopard Brought to CWRC for Treatment

On the night of May 9, officials of the Bokial Forest Beat, Golaghat Forest Division trapped an adult male leopard that sustained several injuries in its efforts to escape the trap cage. The leopard was brought to CWRC for treatment on May 10. Read more »

Conflict Leopard Rescued, Released into the Wild by Assam Forest Department and CWRC MVS Team

Tinsukia, Assam, April 30, 2017: A Mobile Veterinary Service (MVS) unit of CWRC rescued a female leopard that had strayed into a house in Chabua village in the Tinsukia district of Assam on Friday, April 28. Three Orphaned Indian Jackal Pups Rescued, Admitted to CWRC

Bokakhat, Assam, April 9, 2017: A CWRC Mobile Veterinary Service unit rescued three Indian jackal pups from a construction site in the Rajabari area of Bokakhat Town late last month. The pups, two females and a male, are now housed in a specialised enclosure at the centre. Read more »
