First People Biodiversity Register (PBR) of Chhattisgarh Released
Wildlife Trust of India has been extensively surveying the Tourenga Panchayat at Mainpur in Chattisgarh since April 2018, to map out its vivid biodiversity profile. The 1477.59 hectares of the Tourenga Panchayat constitutes the villages of Tourenga, Jugad and Kodomali. Read more »
Unveiling the massive mascot of wild buffalo in Chhattisgarh
Naya Raipur (Atal Nagar), in Chhattisgarh gets a new landmark with a life-size bronze sculpture of a wild buffalo mascot for the state. The statue has been placed around green landscaping as the center of a square, to be called the Shyamu-Radhe Chowk henceforth. Read more »
